How to Strengthen Your Motivation

What is motivation?  It is an internal process that makes a person move towards a goal.  It is the need, desire and drive within individuals to want to achieve their target.

So how do you stay motivated?  A motivation can be intrinsic, extrinsic, or both.   Intrinsic motivation is the motivation to act for the sake of the activity alone.  Like some people do certain activity just simply because they enjoy the activity.  Extrinsic motivation is the motivation to act for external rewards.  Some people do certain activity in the hope of getting rewarded with money.

Sometimes you might have the desire to accomplish something but if the desire is not strong enough, more often than not you will give up easily.

Motivation becomes strong when you have a clear direction and clear idea of what you want to achieve and also a strong desire to make the dream come true.  In such situation, the intrinsic motivation is at work and this intrinsic motivation awakens your inner strength and power, propelling you forward to make your dream a reality.

Motivation is one of the key elements to success.  Lack of motivation can either produce bad result or results that are seriously lacking.

So what can you do to strengthen your motivation?
